Have you heard about so called 'rain-tax'? Ofwat, the regulator for UK water companies, announced public buildings such as Churches could be charged the same amount for drainage as businesses rather than having their bills based on their rateable value. Churches hardly consume any water but would have to pay drainage charges based on surface area of their roofs and parking spaces. Isn't it unfair?
